What type of transport do you offer?
Zen Equestrian specializes in scheduled route transport (group hauling). We operate planned routes along common horse-show and relocation corridors rather than one-horse direct trips. This allows professional care at a more reasonable cost.

Is this a private haul?
No. Unless specifically booked as a private trip through our sister company, Zen Equestrian trips are shared routes. Horses travel with other compatible horses heading the same direction. Your horse still receives individual care, hay, and monitoring throughout the trip.

Will my horse be safe traveling with others?
Yes. Horses are carefully matched by size, temperament, and travel experience whenever possible.  We uphold a high standard of biosecurity and only haul clean loads not from auctions or holding pens.

How often do you stop?
We stop regularly to check horses, refill water, adjust hay, and monitor shipping health. Trips are planned around horse welfare - not speed.

What do I need to provide?

• Current Coggins

• Health certificate (when required by state lines)

• Halter and lead rope

Do you provide hay and water?
Yes. Horses are provided quality hay and water the entire trip unless you request otherwise.

Will my horse be unloaded overnight?
Typically no. Our routes are planned to keep horses moving safely and efficiently. Layovers or unloading only occur when it is safer or necessary for horse welfare or trip duration.

How will I get updates?
We provide communication via text throughout the trip, including pickup confirmation, progress updates, and delivery notification.

How is pricing calculated?
Pricing is based on loaded mileage of your horse from point A to point B, stall size requested, and trip logistics. Scheduled route hauling helps keep rates lower than dedicated private transport.

Can you pick up from private farms, vet clinics, or showgrounds?
Yes. We regularly pick up and deliver to private farms, training barns, veterinary facilities, and show venues.
